About Us
ProTrusTech (PTT)is a professional Raman company from Taiwan, all systems are independently developed and manufactured in Taiwan, and all the components we use are not made in China. We are a recognized leader in Raman spectroscopy based in Taiwan, providing state-of-the-art Raman systems to extensive range of applications. The Raman technology allows fast and non-destructive chemical analysis of solids, powders, liquids and thin film, and has recently become widely used in various research and applied fields. Our mission is to enable our customers to carry out their work in a better and smarter way.

We are an engineering and scientific technology ream that has been drawing on experiences with our customers from academic institutes to industrials labs. In 2008, we established ProTrusTech to continue and improve our achievements, providing Raman systems with microscopy, SERS, TERS, photoreflectance, photoluminescence and electroluminescence.

We develop a wide variety of Raman systems and we have gotten two US patents for inventions. Our product range includes Portable Raman, Portable Micro Raman, Auto Switch Micro Raman System which are widely used in different applications.

Pro TrusTech substantially believes that success comes from both customer satisfaction and our innovation. Building on our expertise in customization and patented technology, we developed a range of high-quality and reliable products: MRI, MRID, GMD, GMDX and RAMaker.

Whether you have training in the relevant field or not, we can provide you with the right product including research-grade or simple Raman for you to choose.

Manufacturers for foundry and OEM
We can offer OEM/ODM services to serve a wider range of companies. Due to application of Raman spectroscopy has become wider. Therefore, based on many years of experience, we have designed an one-piece-formed with more stable optical module, which can mass produce both macro and micro Raman spectrometers, so that Raman spectroscopy can be used in various fields more universal. In addition to its own brands, PTT also seeks for cooperative manufacturers for foundry and OEM.

MRID (Micro Raman Identify Dual)

MRID(Micro RamanIdentification DualLasers)
MRIDis a microscopic Raman system inbuilt with two lasers automatically switchableby software. This design is granted a Taiwan invention patent I709732 and the corresponding USA utilitypatent is also under examination. It solves the trouble of optimizing theoptical path each time a different laser wavelength is used, and in turnprovides a highly reliable optical system that users without optical backgroundscould also handle with ease.
Athird laser module or more could be integrated into MRID system thanks to itshorizontal interlace design for the optical path. With two of the lasers builtin and fixed, the additional laser module(s) connected via optical fiberare swappable and configurable by the users, facilitating a wider range ofapplications.(customization)

Dual-WavelengthAcquisition

One click to automatically measure thespectra excited by different wavelengths is another PTT proprietary feature. The two spectra acquired automatically below show at 520 cm-1 as well as NIR range the silicon chipbehaves differently under 785-nm and under 532-nm lasers. This feature couldalso acquire both Raman and Photoluminescence signals respectively andautomatically from the same excitation source.

High-Precision Laser Power Control

Laser power output could bedirectly controlled by software, at 1 mW/step for RGB Lasersystems, one of the major laser brandsused in MRID. In addition, laser power could be reduced by a round continuouslyvariable neutral density filter (O.D 2.0~0.04) that is also controlled bysoftware with high precision.

ND control : User-input & frequentiy usedtransmission

Laser control : User input,1mW/step

Polarization Module (Optional)

Differentalignment of optical axis with respect to the incident laser polarization canlead to different spectra for anisotropic samples, such asstrained films or crystals. The polarization feature facilitates the observation of such properties bycontrolling both directions via software.

Exposure Control for Scan/View Switch

When observing samples, the laser poweris reduced to lower than 0.01% so as to keep the image from overexposure. Suchswitch between SCAN and VIEW modes is automatically completed by software, avoiding manual vibration from shifting the sample and ensuring precision ofboth the position and the focus.

Non-reduced laser power                          After auto reducing laser power

RamanMapping(Optional)

Advanced Raman mapping feature, with the XY motorized stage

75 X 50 mm or 100 X 100 mm Resolution 0.01 µm (smallest stepsize)@XY Resolution typical 0,002 μm@Z Depend on the weight of sample

4-Point Probe / Temperature Control (Optional)
